New Year, New Ideas

Hello friends,

Welcome to our first newsletter! I'm Nikki, the Digital Outreach Coordinator here at Articulate, and I'll be dropping into your mailbox once a month to say hi and keep you informed about all the goings-on of our show. First and foremost, I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year. Since January goes hand in hand with resolutions and fresh starts—I've made quite a few plans myself—I thought you might enjoy some of our stories that explore familiar topics in new, interesting ways.

We have a ton of exciting things on deck for the coming year, and I'm looking forward to keeping you in the loop! Until then, don't forget to keep up with Articulate on social media (more info on that below)!

OTHER STUFF WE're Into

We're an eclectic group here at Articulate, and our interests run the gamut. Here's a few of the things we've been into recently that we're excited to share.

We're reading (and loving) Jennifer Egan's Manhattan Beach, listening to Frank Sinatra's "In the Wee Small Hours," and re-watching season two of Master of None on Netflix (yes, it's that good). We'd also recommend The Atlantic's recent article "Why So Many Adults Love Young Adult Literature", and Hit Parade, the monthly podcast where Slate's Chris Molanphy explores the often weird and wonderful history of the U.S pop charts.
