What's Up, Fam?
Welcome to the family edition of our newsletter! Don't worry, we won't be asking about your fiber intake, or pestering you about why you're still single. Instead, in this month where ads for various parental appreciation gifts run amok, we wanted to offer a heartfelt reminder to love your kin. And, whether you're bound by blood or the courts, when push comes to shove—sometimes, literally, in the case of sibling rivalry—family’s role in shaping who we are is undeniable.

Brothers Jesse and Josh Flemming co-founded Do LaB, an event planning company that brings their wildest daydreams to life.

- Dad bods might be a dying trend, but dad jokes will never go out of style. Find some quality punchlines at Nice one Dad.
What started out as a family making music—patriarch A.P. Carter, his wife Sara, and her cousin Maybelle—evolved into one of country music’s most influential (and enduring) bands. Here’s “Farther On,” from the current iteration of the Carter Family’s most recent album, Past & Present.
- Oliver Jeffers' book, Here We Are, offers a delightful perspective on what it means to be a parent, child, and, above all, a human being.

They say blood is thicker than water, but some families are borne out of circumstance—like our tight-knit group here at Articulate. The above photo comes from our recent “family” research outing in Ireland, where Executive Producer Tori Marchiony and Director of Operations Constance Kaita found time for this regal moment at Dublin’s Clontarf Castle. [Photo credit: our host, Jim Cotter.] We're cooking up some pretty exciting things for our show, so stay tuned!
